October 2013 Simultaneous Chess Exhibition

Join the Kenosha Chess Club as thirteen year old Kenosha resident and All-Girls National Chess Champion Anupama Rajendra challenges all comers and plays up to 30 opponents at the same time! You can play against the champ, or just come to watch.

This is a fund-raising event to help Anu represent the U.S. in the upcoming World Youth Chess Championships in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E) in December 2013. Anu has won the USCF All-Girls National Championship tournament two years in a row, playing against much older opponents.

When: Thursday, October 24th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm

Where: LakeView Technology Academy, 9449 88th Ave, Pleasant Prairie, WI
Enter the “Commons” area on the northwest corner of the building

Who: All ages are invited to play or watch. All skill levels are welcome to play. Players just need to know the legal moves of chess. Children under the age of 9 must be supervised by an adult.

Cost: To Play: $5 for students (grades K-12), $10 for adults. Free to watch.

Advance registration for players is encouraged. To register, email registerchess@gmail.com . Registrations will also be accepted at the door (as space permits). All payments will be collected at the door.
