Celebrate Chess Day at the Kenosha Public Library Saturday October 17, 2015 10 am to 4 pm Southwest Library, 7979 38th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53142 Enjoy a variety of fun activities for beginners and experienced chess players alike! Drop in anytime during the day for casual chess play or the events listed below. All are welcome! Children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult. 10 am - Chess Basics for Beginners - Learn to play chess in just one hour! 11 am - How to Play Better Chess - Improve your game by learning more about opening principles, tactics and checkmates! 12 pm to 2 pm - Simultaneous Chess Exhibition - Play or watch as local chess champion Anupama Rajendra takes on up to 20 opponents at the same time! 2 pm to 4 pm - Chess Tournament - Experience the fun of playing in a fun, fast-moving chess tournament!
